With proper care, your tropical flowers will look good for one to three weeks from the time you receive them, and possibly longer. In order to ensure longevity, we offer these instructions.
We recommend flowers be unpacked immediately upon arrival. Do not refrigerate. Next trim the ends of stems about 1/4″. Soak flowers in cold water for approximately 10 minutes – a bathtub is the perfect place.
Arrange the flowers in a beautiful vase of your choice and fill vase with fresh water. Change the water every 4-5 days to keep the water clean and free of bacteria and algae.
Resoak if you are able. This makes the flowers feel that they are still in their moist and humid tropical environment. Trimming the ends again before soaking will help flowers last longer.
Avoid storage below 60 degrees, direct sunlight, heat, and air conditioners.
